Dan Baccarini is the head trainer for Touch on The Ball. He has been coaching youth soccer since 2001 and has coached at both the recreation and competitive/select level. Most recently he coached a High School Boys Select Soccer team to the best record within their age division in addition to coaching an Under 12 Girls Select Team. This girl’s team went from last place prior to Dan taking over this team to back to back league champions. They went from averaging less than one goal a game to averaging over 5 goals a game, from allowing over 2 goals a game to allowing less than 1 goal a game. The team finished the fall/spring season top 15 in the US for all U12 Girls team in Most Goals scored with 91 scored and only 22 allowed (this was the third lowest goals allowed total of all the top 15 teams). However, the most important aspect of the team is that there were 4-5 girls on the team that had decided to quit playing soccer prior to Dan taking over the team. All of these girls stuck around, reignited their love for soccer, and continued to play soccer even after Dan turned over the leadership of this team to his assistant coach.

After Dan moved to the Panhandle of Florida in the summer of 2010 with his wife and 6 kids from the St. Louis Region, he decided to set up Touch on The Ball to provide fundamentally sound soccer training in a fun and competitive environment so as to develop a large group of technically sound and tactically aware players for the local soccer clubs and local High Schools.

Dan currently holds a US Soccer Federation National D License.

Dan is also the Southern Region Head Scout for the International Academic and Soccer Academy which provides a professional playing opportunity for players that have an interest in progressing in their soccer career while receiving a quality education in England.

Other trainers will be used on a case by case basis.

All trainers have an annual background check conducted by KidSafePlus.
